I first started telling stories as a journalist, then as a teacher, tour guide, babysitter and Toastmaster.

I grew up in Sydney, Australia and have travelled most of my life.

I've been telling more stories along the way after I discovered blogsites in 2004 (see below right). I used these as an online travel diary to keep friends updated with my stories and photos.

I'll be sharing some of these stories each week through this blogsite, as well as posting some occasional short stories.

I moved to Queensland's Sunshine Coast in early 2009 to focus on writing again and telling more children's stories through books.

The Goldilocks Trilogy name was inspired by an epic bedtime story saga during my babysitting years. The kids used to ask for a Goldilocks story, which spanned over five years and featured an array of characters.  Click here for samples. 

I've now returned full circle to my writing and journalism ways after a 20-year detour.

I've noticed that writing is like riding a bicycle - once you learn, you never forget.
