African Children's Choir tour
Sunshine Coast, Queensland - August 2013
Eighteen children and eight adults from The African Children’s Choir (ACC) travelled to Australia from 29 July to 1 September 2013 to raise awareness of Africa’s destitute children and raise funds for its programs.
The tour consisted of SOLD OUT public concerts and singing/dancing cultural exchange workshops in Melbourne, Sydney, Blue Mountains, Laurieton, Port Macquarie, Gold Coast and Sunshine Coast. A local choir or school hosted the ACC in each town, providing accommodation, food and transport. Sunshine Coast events/activities:
