African Children's Choir 2015 Australia tour

National roles / responsibilities:

Performers from halfway across the world have travelled to the Sunshine Coast to spread a message of love and unity, through song and dance. They haven't even hit their teens, but members of the African Children's Choir have wisdom and ability well beyond their years.

Sunshine Coast roles / responsibilities:
  • Organising committee member for  local itinerary.
  • PR and media 
  • Project management: itinerary, venue hire, billet families,  online ticket sales.

Bus grant

  • Co-authored a successful $35,000 grant application (2014) to buy  a 49-seater bus (Gambling Community Benefit Fund) used to transport the African Children's Choir during its 2015 tour of Australia.
